Why choose our physiotherapy treatment?

Our physiotherapists acquired the most effective treatment procedures of modern physiotherapy in international trainings.

Treatment of disc herniation, lumbago, back and neck pain

Spine problems can result from poor posture, sedentary lifestyle, overwork, and sports injuries, and these can be treated primarily with physiotherapy. The most internationally accepted method for treating disc herniation, spinal hernia, lumbago, back and neck pain is the McKenzie physiotherapy, which helps healing with effective home exercises.

Treatment of back pain caused by an inactive sedentary lifestyle is achieved primarily by strengthening the muscles of the spine and stretching the shortened muscles. The most common cause of neck pain is poor posture caused by computer work, the correction of which is achieved by targeted physiotherapy exercises and posture rectification.

Scoliosis, Scheuermann, Treatment of Postural Disorders

In the case of scoliosis (a condition where the spine twists and curves to the side), the most effective treatment is Schroth therapy, which successfully helps to treat scoliosis in both children and adults.

In the case of Scheuermann's disease and postural defects, it is an important part of the treatment that the patient learns how the correct posture feels like and is taught how to achieve the correct posture, as well as to develop the necessary muscle corset. During the treatments we teach you ergonomically correct sitting and standing postures and give advice on how to put as little as possible strain on the spine in everyday life.  At the request of our patients, we are also happy to prepare a long-term physiotherapy plan, which will greatly prevent the recurrence of pain later on.

Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Ankle Joint Pain Treatment

Treatment of shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joint pain is in many cases only possible with targeted physiotherapy. Based on a movement test to find out the cause of the pain, our physiotherapists compile a list of homework exercises tailored to the individual. The performance of these exercises effectively helps the efficacy of the physiotherapy treatment. If the joint injury required surgery, the most important element of postoperative rehabilitation is targeted physiotherapy, started at the right time.

When treating sports injuries, it is especially important to restore mobility all the way to top athlete level where necessary, with the help of our physiotherapy exercises.
